Library News

Welcome to 2026

The library staff are delighted to welcome our amazing students and teachers back into the library at the start of a new school year.  It has been fantastic to see the library buzzing with bright smiles, happy faces, and a wonderful sense of energy every day. We have especially loved welcoming our new Year 7 students on their very first library visits, and we can’t wait to see them settle in and become regular, enthusiastic library users.

Opening hours:

The opening hours for the library are 8.30am to 4.00pm.  We encourage students to use the library before and after school as well as during recess and lunch time.

Returns Reminder:

Parents and students are reminded to please return any books they borrowed from the school library last year. If you are unsure whether you have outstanding loans, feel free to ask at the library desk during recess or lunchtime.

Recommendations:

If you have any recommendations for books, you would like us to add to the library catalogue, there is a recommendations sheet on the library desk.

Community Library Resources:

There are many excellent library resources available in the local community. Wangaratta Library offers a wide range books and online resources, including the BorrowBox app, which allows users to borrow eAudiobooks, eBooks, eMagazines and eNewspapers at any time. It is free with a library membership.
