Planetarium and Science Discovery Day

 Gary Starr's Visiting Dome

 

Wangaratta High School had the pleasure of hosting Gary Starr’s Planetarium, bringing the wonders of the night sky to life through an immersive, full-dome digital experience on site. Students explored the Solar System and learned about space phenomena without leaving the school grounds.

 

Students from Yurranga Primary School and Appin Primary School joined us and took part in a variety of engaging, hands-on STEM activities while waiting for their planetarium session.

 

We were extremely proud of our 2025 Year 7 student leaders, who confidently supported and facilitated activities in partnership with Charles Sturt University, DTAC, NE Tracks and Wangaratta Tech School.

 

It was a highly engaging day of science, discovery, leadership and collaboration. 🌠🚀
