Congratulations Isla

Over the school holidays, Isla competed in the 2024 BMX NSW State Titles up in Terrigal. She is now 15 Girls & also Junior Superclass Women State Champion for 2024. She then flew over to WA  to compete in the 2024 National BMX Titles in Perth, where she is now National Champion in 15 Girls & also National Champion in Junior Superclass Women. Isla has trained soo hard all year & her efforts have paid off. This is an amazing achievement. Well done Isla!

Netball Stars of the future!

From 27th-30th September 2024 Jaylah Sullivan (Year 9) and Chloe Hoogenboom (Year 10) represented South West Sydney Academy of Sport at the Regional Academy Netball Challenge in Port Macquarie.

This competition sees the best of the best 15 and 16 year old netballers from 12 regional academies in NSW compete against each other.

The girls played some amazing netball over the 3 days, with their team finishing runners up in division 2 and taking home a medal for SWSAS which hasn't been done in over 10 years.

A special mention to Jaylah for captaining the team and again being selected into the 2024/2025 netball scholarship program.
