Year 3 LEGO Animation Project – Mission to Save Earth!
Last term, our talented Year 3 students collaborated to create an entertaining LEGO stop-motion animation as part of their STEM learning.
The story begins with the Year 3 students stranded on the Moon after making a shocking discovery—the evil alien race, the Wobbletron Empire, is planning to invade Earth! With no way home, they must work together to design and build their own LEGO rocket. Using their creativity, problem-solving skills, and teamwork, they blast back to Earth to warn everyone before it's too late. The big question is... can they complete their mission and save the planet?
This exciting project gave students the opportunity to combine storytelling, engineering, design thinking, digital technologies, and animation while working collaboratively. They invested an incredible amount of time, effort, creativity, and teamwork into every scene, and their hard work truly shines through in the finished animation.
I am incredibly proud of what our Year 3 students have achieved. Their imagination, perseverance, and collaboration have resulted in a fantastic production that they should all be proud of.
Parents and families are warmly invited to watch the finished animation by visiting: https://youtu.be/0zAdHBep9zQ
I look forward to sharing their animation with the school community at a future assembly and celebrating their outstanding work.
Well done, Year 3! What an amazing achievement!
