Keeping you informed

Sweet taste of Bronze!

Congratulations to Year 11 students Lincoln Chetcuti, Paddy McKay, Chad Kinnane and Ashton Healy, who represented St Pat's at the ACC Culinary Competition at Parade College on Friday, 23 May.

The boys had some very tough competition but came away with Bronze for their two dishes:

Main – Roast Supreme Chicken breast and lemon myrtle pasta with a spicy lemon glaze

Dessert – Raspberry mousse cake with a chocolate ganache and vanilla crumb.

One special mention the judges made during their critique was the noodles were “exceptional.” Well done, boys. You should be extremely proud.

SPC Rowing recognised

The SPC Rowing program and four students have been recognised at state level by Rowing Victoria.

St Pat's was nominated in the Top 3 Schoolboys category, while students Blake Roberts, Josh Elliott, Patrick Stute and Lachie Cameron have been nominated in the Top 3 Male Coxswain and Schoolboy categories, respectively.

All four rowers were part of the Year 10 Division 1 crew, our most successful crew of the 2024/25 season. This is an incredible achievement, with approximately 5000 rowers competing in Rowing Victoria regattas this season. Well done, boys, and good luck for the upcoming awards.

St Pat's embraces CDS

Year 12 students Charlie Elliott, Billy Twaits, Joe Foley and Jackson McInerney are encouraging students to recycle eligible containers and help earn House points.
Year 12 students Charlie Elliott, Billy Twaits, Joe Foley and Jackson McInerney are encouraging students to recycle eligible containers and help earn House points.

St Patrick's has connected with McCallum Disability Services to bring the Container Deposit Scheme (CDS) to our school. Students can deposit any 10c eligible container (juice boxes, milk cartons, cans, etc) to help gain house points and reduce our landfill.

In return, St Pat’s will receive seven cents per can whilst McCallum uses the three cents to help employ their staff. The sustainability team are excited to have this new initiative and encourages students to get recycling!

SIMON Everywhere App

The College has invested in a new mobile app to provide easy access to the Parent Access Module (PAM) and other information about your son/s schooling.

SIMON Everywhere delivers all the functionality of PAM in a mobile app, as well as quick links to the College calendar, website, social media pages, Dobsons (uniform) and more!

Key documents such as the 2025 Booklists and Canteen price list can also be found on SIMON Everywhere under a handy folder called 'Parent Docs'.

To learn more about SIMON Everywhere, which replaces our SPC app by Digistorm, please read through the how-to guide below. We encourage all parents and caregivers to download the new Simon Everywhere app and delete the SPC app as it is no longer supported or functional.

Reporting Student Concussions

We remind all families of the importance of notifying the school if your child sustains a concussion outside of school hours. It is essential that we are made aware as soon as possible, even if the injury occurs during a weekend, holiday or after-school activity.

Concussions can significantly affect a student’s ability to concentrate, participate in class, and safely engage in physical activities. Prompt communication allows us to provide the appropriate academic support, monitor their recovery, and implement necessary accommodations in line with medical advice.

If your child is diagnosed with a concussion, please inform the school nurse or administration promptly through the concussion reporting form in PAM (Parent Access Module). Your cooperation helps ensure your child's health, safety and academic success.
