🎨 Visual Arts Exhibition

We’re excited to invite you to our Visual Arts, Design & Technology + Art Academy Exhibition on Wednesday 5 November, from 6:00–8:00pm in the Innovation Centre (Holloway Campus).

The exhibition will feature an inspiring collection of work from VCE Visual Arts subjects and Years 7–9 Art Academy, celebrating the creativity, innovation, and talent of our students across the year.

Enjoy a special live student music performance and delicious catering by our Year 11 Food Studies students as you explore the displays.

This event showcases the incredible diversity and passion of our young artists and designers — we look forward to seeing you there!

Art Academy Group Mural Installation at Bluff Road Campus

In Term 2, the Year 7–9 Art Academy students completed a stunning group mural which has recently been installed at the Bluff Road Campus. The mural was created under the guidance of visiting artist Sarah Low, who led the students through a collaborative design process that encouraged teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving.

Students were involved in every stage of the project — from scouting the location and developing the concept to designing and painting the final work. They chose an “under the sea” theme, inspired by the school’s coastal location and the idea of diversity and harmony, represented through the variety of sea life featured in the mural.

Art Academy teachers Penny Fernandez and Joanna Pham also supported students throughout the painting and installation phases. The mural’s location — between the locker bays — was chosen by students for its visibility and welcoming impact, transforming a once plain area into a bright, inviting space for everyone to enjoy.

We are incredibly proud of our students for their hard work, collaboration, and creativity. The mural now stands as a vibrant symbol of our school’s community spirit and artistic talent.
