Spring Music Soirée

On Wednesday 22 October, our College community was treated to a wonderful evening of music at our Spring Soirée. It was a joy to see our students take to the stage and share the results of their hard work throughout the year. 

The evening featured a vibrant program of performances from our instrumental and vocal ensembles, including jazz, string, concert, and contemporary groups. Each ensemble brought their unique sound and energy to the stage, thoroughly entertaining the audience and highlighting the depth of musical talent across the College.

What stood out was the incredible growth and confidence shown by our performers since the midyear ensemble night. From tighter ensemble playing to more expressive performances, it was clear just how much progress our students have made — both individually and as part of their ensembles.

Congratulations to all the students involved, and a huge thank you to our dedicated Music staff for their guidance and ongoing support in making the night such a success.

VCE Music Showcase

The following evening, our senior musicians took centre stage for the VCE Showcase, featuring an impressive lineup of group performances. The night highlighted the creativity and talent of our Year 11 students as they presented to a live audience.

It was a wonderful celebration of their work throughout the year and a fitting finale to their VCE unit. A special thank you to our VCE Music teacher, Timothy Clifton, for his exceptional commitment to helping our VCE students achieve their best.
