Old Boys

Where are they now?

What year did you graduate from Epping Boys?
I graduated in 2006. It honestly feels like a lifetime ago, but I still have so many good memories from that time.
Most memorable moment from Epping Boys?
There were so many, but I think what made my time there special was the friendships. I was incredibly lucky to have a great group of mates.
Your favourite subject in school, and why?
I always enjoyed Mathematics. It just seemed to come naturally to me. I liked the logic and problem-solving aspect of it.
What did you do straight after school?
After graduating, I took a short break before heading off to university. I was fortunate enough to study Veterinary Medicine and the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in Edinburgh, Scotland, which was an incredible experience both academically and personally.
What career have you pursued?
I’ve pursued a career in Veterinary Medicine and am now the founder of Nimble Veterinary Hospital in West Ryde. It’s an independent, community-focused clinic that I started in April 2025. I love what I do! No two days are ever the same, and it’s rewarding to make a real difference for both pets and their families.
Advice for current students at Epping Boys?
Enjoy your time at school. It goes faster than you think. The friendships you build now will stay with you long after graduation. Don’t be afraid to chase what genuinely interests you, even if the path isn’t always clear at first. Hard work and curiosity will take you further than you can imagine.
Thank you to Darren A. A. in year 10 for this edition of Where are they now?
