Middle School

Transition Visits
This term our school held four transition visits for our incoming 2026 cohort. Each of our incoming Year 7 students were invited to attend one of these transition afternoons during Wednesday sport time. Students participated in a portrait class for Visual Arts, a pizza making lesson for CAPA, and a games club organised by our Wellbeing team. These afternoons are important in helping students familiarise themselves with Epping Boys before they begin their high school journey in 2026. I would like to tank Miss Raynor, Mrs Sweeney, Mr Percy, Miss Low, Miss Tillstrand, Mrs Koff and Mr Flaviano for their assistance in running these activities for our 2026 Year 7 students.
Orientation Day
This term our Orientation Day will be held on Thursday, 4 December. The day run from 8am until 2:00pm. All Year 7 2026 students will be contacted directly with the program for the day.
Students will participate in literacy and numeracy activities; taster lessons in either Science, Mathematics, History or Geography; and a tour of the school. Information will also be provided to parents on our school uniform requirements and our BYOD policy. This is always an exciting day and will be the first time are 2026 Year 7 students are on campus together.
Middle School Reports
Middle School students have completed their final assessments for 2026. Students will receive a cumulative weighted mark out of 100 on their yearly report based on their formal assessments throughout the year, along with an overall academic grade and a grade level for a list of prescribed outcomes for each subject.
All Middle School reports will be published on Tuesday, 15 December. These will be sent home as a PDF, as well as published to the parent portal on Sentral. We recommend you read this report with your son and use it to help guide your planning for the 2026 academic year.
