As the school year progresses, we are excited to celebrate some important milestones and achievements in the mathematics world:

Congratulations to Year 12 Students!

Firstly, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to our Year 12 students who have recently completed their HSC exams. We are incredibly proud of their dedication and resilience throughout this journey, and we wish them every success in their future endeavours, whether they are entering the workforce, continuing their studies, or taking on new challenges, we know they will make a positive impact in the world.

ICAS and Australian Mathematics Competition Achievements

Congratulations to all students who participated in the ICAS Mathematics and Australian Mathematics Competitions this year. 

An outstanding effort by all our entrants in the AMC Mathematics Competition. We had 164 participants and received a total of 9 High Distinctions (Year 7 – G Chong, J Zhou, R Wang, Year 8 – L Hoffman, Year 9 – J Sin, Year 10 – R Fernandes, Year 11 – T Bansal, L Wang, Z Lee) and 32 Distinctions. 

Similarly, an outstanding effort by all our entrants in the ICAS Mathematics Competition. We had 45 participants and received a total of 1 High Distinctions and 15 Distinctions (A Kam, A Hsieh, D Patel, G Chong, I Liang, J Shen, C Zhou, D Li, I Chen, O Wu, T Han, Z Wu, Z Li, A Cariiappa, Q Wang, N Pathirana).

Yearly Examinations and Reports

This is a busy and sometimes stressful time for students as they complete their Yearly Examinations, and for our teachers who are diligently preparing end-of-year reports. We understand this period can feel overwhelming for students and families alike, and we encourage parents to reach out to us with any concerns or questions regarding their child’s progress. We are here to support you and ensure each student finishes the year positively.

As we enter the second half of the term and weeks closer to Christmas, here’s something for all the Maths and Christmas lovers out there.
