Stymie

Week 5 in the school has seen a relaunch of our school reporting system. Stymie is a great tool for students to report concerns they have around school including bullying, concerns about friends, concerns about themselves etc.

Students were spoken to at Assembly on Monday about this with Year 7, 8 and 9 getting a longer presentation.

Stymie can be accessed at www.stymie.com.au and reports can be made by students and parents at any time of the day. All reports are actioned in some way within 2 working days of the report being received.

Uniforms

The uniforms to start 2026 have been generally excellent. A reminder to all parents and students, if you are out of uniform for any reason you must bring a note from home to the office before school to get a uniform pass. By bringing a note from home students avoid receiving a detention. Detentions are given to students who don’t bring notes or who don’t get uniform passes.

A reminder about some parts of the uniform, jewellery should be kept to a minimum as should makeup. Non-school caps are also not part of the uniform and wearing one may result in an automatic detention.

Laptops and Damage

We kindly remind parents and guardians that if a student's school laptop is damaged (especially if another student may be involved) it’s important that the incident is reported to the school as soon as possible.

Prompt reporting helps us investigate effectively and ensures that any financial responsibility for the damage can be properly assigned. Unfortunately, if damage is reported a week, or in some cases a month after it occurs, it becomes very difficult to determine who was responsible. In these cases, the cost may fall to the student the device was assigned to, even if they weren’t at fault.

Please report any damage as soon as possible.
