Music

We have had a wonderful start to the year in Music! 

The Music curriculum is organised into four strands: Developing Practices and Skills, Exploring and Responding, Creating, and Presenting. While these strands are closely interconnected and will be woven throughout our learning, our focus in Term One will be on Developing Practices and Skills.

We will engage in a wide variety of games and songs designed to strengthen their understanding of key musical elements, including beat, rhythm, pitch, dynamics, and tempo. Play comes naturally to children (and me!) making it a powerful and joyful vehicle for learning. 

I know that within our school community there is a wealth of musical experience, cultural knowledge, and enthusiasm, and I would love to invite you to be a part of our learning in music. If you are interested in contributing in any way—big or small—please feel free to contact me.
