Grade 2/3/4

Our 2/3/4 class has had a fantastic start to the 2026 school year! Over the first 2 weeks, students have been busy settling into routines, getting to know one another and building our classroom community. It has been wonderful to see new bonds forming and the lovely way that the students have welcomed me to the St. Mary's community!

Last week, we embraced our creative sides by engaging in origami, Lego, jigsaws, and lots of drawing! We even had a few games of Celebrity Head! 

This week, we have officially started our learning program which the students have approached with enthusiasm and an obvious thirst for learning - every teacher's number one dream! In Literacy, we have started reading Roald Dahl's "Matilda." The students watched the film prior to starting our reading, and are thoroughly enjoying the novel. 

I am really proud of the enthusiasm and effort everyone has shown already. We are looking forward to a fun and productive term ahead!
