Prep  

This term the Preps have been learning about ‘Our Community’ during Discovery. This included people who help us. 

The last few Fridays of Term 1 we had some wonderful visits from Paramedics, Firefighters and Police Officers. During the visit students in Prep were able to see the fire truck, ambulance and police car including the lights and sirens. The Preps loved when the police officers showed their baton, going on the fire truck, spraying the hose, seeing the stretcher bed and the oxygen mask in the ambulance. The Preps learnt about what to do if there is a fire? Who to call in an emergency? We are very grateful that the emergency services were able to fit us into their busy schedule as this is an experience that the Preps will remember for very long time.
