Our staff has been engaging in Professional Learning Community (PLC) cycles, meeting weekly to focus on refining their teaching practices and improving student outcomes. These PLC cycles allow teachers to collaborate, share insights, and learn evidence-based strategies that directly impact their instruction. By dedicating time each week to professional growth, teachers take away valuable practices they can immediately embed into their future teaching.
This term, the focus has been on ensuring all students experience success by differentiating instruction and supporting the wide range of abilities in the classroom. Teachers have worked diligently ensuring that every student is supported and able to reach their potential.
On Wednesday afternoon, we celebrated the incredible dedication our teachers have shown throughout these PLC cycles through staff teams sharing their journey this term. It was fantastic to witness the results of their hard work, as they’ve integrated their research into their teaching to promote student growth. The celebration highlighted the positive impact of their efforts, with students benefiting from more engaging, effective learning experiences.
We are proud of the progress made and excited about the continued growth and success that these PLC cycles will bring in the future.
