In our 1/2 classes, we’ve been exploring the wonderful world of poetry!
Our students have been busy writing a variety of poems, starting with a colour poem that helped us practice using similes and adjectives to make our descriptions more vivid. We also created acrostic poems, where each line began with a letter from a word, and sensory food poems that brought flavours and textures to life through our senses. It’s been a fun and creative way to strengthen our language skills!
