Amplify

Amplify Market Days – Young Entrepreneurs in Action!
The Amplify program is on the home stretch, and our young entrepreneurs have been working hard to bring their business ideas to life! Partnering with ACRE (Australian Centre for Rural Entrepreneurship), our Year 9 students have spent the past few weeks developing unique products and small business ventures.
After successfully pitching their ideas to the “Sharks” at the end of Term 3, students have now moved into the production phase - crafting, creating, and preparing to sell their products to the community.
In Week 3 (Monday 20 October), our Monday Amplify group will hold their Practice Market Day, selling around 20% of their products and taking pre-orders for the big event. In Week 4 (Wednesday 29 October), our Wednesday Amplify group will also run their Practice Market Day.
The excitement builds to Week 6 (Monday 10 and Wednesday 12 November), when both groups will host their Big Market Days, open to the wider community.
Location: Kildare Campus in the COLA
Time: 11.30am – 1.15pm
Visitors will have the opportunity to browse a wonderful range of handmade products - perfect for Christmas gifts - while supporting the creativity and enterprise of our students.
A cashless QR payment option will be available for convenience.
All proceeds raised will go towards the five charities supported by St Joseph’s College:
- Wellsprings for Women
- BASP (Brigidine Asylum Seekers Project)
- Saltbush
- Echuca Neighbourhood House
St Mary’s Parish
This event is a fantastic celebration of innovation, teamwork, and social impact — and a wonderful way for our Year 9 students to finish the year. We warmly invite all families and community members to come along and support our young changemakers!
