Communicating with the Year One Team

We are very happy to be partnering with you in 2026, and welcome your input:

When communicating with the Year One team, please reach out via the below email addresses. Your child's class teacher is your first point of contact when requiring a discussion. You will usually see us outside the classrooms at the end of the day. This is the preferred time to catch us for a quick chat as we are focused on greeting the students before school.

Please also note that we have scheduled meetings at 3.45pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

What's been happening in Term Two in Year One?

What a busy term we have had in Year One! Students have enjoyed learning and exploring how to measure different objects both in the classroom and outside. We even had the chance to estimate and then measure how many blocks long our classroom was! Students have also loved learning about their families and how things have changed over the past 100 years including transport, communication and technology. The Year One students also enjoyed celebrating National Walk to School day, Wear it Yellow day, Crazy Hair and Sock day, Earth day, as well as Auslan day. We are so proud of the efforts and achievements that our students have made this term and being a part of their learning journey.
