Camden Careers

Currently, sixty (60) Camden High students are participating in external vocational education and their teachers are reporting a very great start to the year. It is great to see Camden High students thriving in the adult learning environment and gaining excellent work ready skills.

Students are participating in a range of courses including Animal studies, Allied Health, Information Technology, Early Child Care, Automotive and more! The students are also a diverse group and include Year 10 STAR class, senior students and students in support unit.

Training providers include TAFE, NSW Health, TAFE digital, ITEC and Karben.

Students really need to step up to study externally from school and so far our 2026 crew are doing exceptionally well. I look forward to seeing the group progress through work placement and their studies.

Stage 5 are preparing for work experience at Woolworths Oran Park next term. Over the last few weeks they have been working really hard to complete a Work Ready Program and prepare their work experience paperwork. Great work to all the students who have had lots of adulting practice in preparation for next term.
