Deputy Principal Staff and Students Report

GRATITUDE

As we move closer to the end of the term, I am very grateful for the growth and development of our students throughout 2026. In particular the students who have overcome challenges and struggles last year and really grown and developed this year.

 

I am also very grateful for the many Parents, Carers and Guardians that we work in partnership with for the best outcomes for their child. We are blessed to be able to support the Parents, Carers and Guardians as the primary educators of their children and are grateful for the wonderful Parents, Carers and Guardians that we work with.

CHILD SAFETY

At the request of the Dandenong Council and their team supervising the School Crossing at the back of the College, we remind students to please use the supervised School Crossing  when walking and crossing Police Road.  It is a very busy road and in the interests of the safety of all, please use the supervised School Crossing to cross Police Road.

NAZARETH CELEBRATIONS

Each year we celebrate our Nazareth Community with our Nazareth Mass and Nazareth Day. The Nazareth Mass will be celebrated next Monday 7 September at 10.00am in the Wheeler Auditorium.  We are blessed to have past student Fr Cam Smith celebrate the Mass and family members are most welcome to attend the Mass.

 

On Thursday 10 September, the College will cease classes for a day to celebrate our community with Nazareth Day. The day commences with an assembly where our Faith, Wisdom and Knowledge awards are presented. There are a great range of rides, activities and food options during the middle section of the day. The day concludes in the afternoon with the annual Nazareth Talent Quest. This is always a great day and we look forward to it next week.

LOOKING AHEAD

  • Tuesday 15 September 2026 and Thursday 17 September 2026 are the Year 7-10 Student Progress Meetings (via zoom).

  • Term 3, 2026 ends on Thursday 17 September 2026 at the usual time of 3.03pm.  

  • Friday 18 September 2026 is our annual Staff Reflection Day, no students, no classes. 

  • Term 4, 2026 starts on Monday 5 October 2026 (Day 6 timetable).   Students are welcome to wear the summer uniform when we return in Term 4, 2026.
