News from School Council

Did you know, World Teachers' Day, is celebrated on October 25th? This is a special occasion to honour and recognize the invaluable contributions of Teachers around Australia and the globe.

This day highlights the vital role teachers play in shaping the minds and futures of our students and young people.

It also serves as a reminder of the dedication, passion, and hard work that our teachers invest in their profession, often going above and beyond to inspire and support their students.

On this day, we celebrate not only the academic achievements of our teachers but also their ability to foster creativity, critical thinking, and resilience in their classrooms. 

Personally, I’d like to acknowledge the significant impact the DPS teachers have had on my own daughters, Charlotte and Lucy, in paving the way for a brighter future for them and I know this would be echoed throughout the community.
