Subway Meal Deal

We will be having a Subway Meal Deal Day on Thursday 31st October

Your children can choose either a sub & drink OR a sub, drink & cookie. 

Please note: one order needs to be placed for each child - there are no fees for placing an order! 

 

BONUS........the class with the most orders wins an icy block party! 

 

ORDERS MUST BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN 9AM MONDAY 28th OCTOBER.

SunSmart

A gentle reminder that ALL students need to wear their school hat this term. As we are a SunSmart school, we take very seriously the need to be sun smart. This includes

  • Wearing the approved broad-brimmed Donvale school hat outside
  • Encouraging students to come to school wearing a broad-spectrum water-resistant sunscreen (30+) and to reapply it during the day 

If students do not wear or have a hat, they will be restricted to play in the designated shade areas.

 

Late Passes & Early Release Passes

Please remember that when your child is late to school, you must bring your child to the office to be signed in. Your child will then take a Late Pass to give to their teacher. If this process is not followed, your child is not marked as present. Please also come to the office to have your child signed out if they need to leave school early. 

School Absences

A reminder that if your child is away from school due to illness, appointments, holidays or any other reason, you must inform the school either by noting the absence in Compass or calling the school on 9842 3373. It is DET (Department of Education & Training) policy that all student absences are accounted for. 

 

Please also notify your child's teacher if your child will be absent for more than one day so any missed class work can be discussed. 

 

Lost property

If your child has misplaced any of their belongings at school, we have two lost property boxes. One at the tiger turf end of the junior building, and the other opposite the after school care room in the middle school building. 

Please ensure all your child's belongings are named clearly so it is easier for them to be found when they are misplaced.
