Cadet Report

MAJ Sarah Byron

As the senior cadets prepare for the upcoming bivouac, the excitement and anticipation is building as they set their lessons for the recruits. The biv. is a significant part of the recruit training, where they will not only apply the skills they've been learning but also face challenges that will push their limits and enhance their capabilities in the field.

Over the past cadet parade days, cadets have been taught many skills in various areas to ensure they're ready for the demands of the bivouac.

The bivouac will take place at the Glendinning campsite, offering the perfect backdrop for cadets to practice their fieldcraft, ratel, navigation and first aid skills. The bivouac is designed to challenge cadets, testing their problem-solving skills, endurance, and ability to work together as a team. The cadets will have the opportunity to push themselves and grow in a supportive yet demanding environment.
