Standing Tall Update

Our Standing Tall students have recently celebrated the arrival of our new Wellbeing room couches which provide students and their mentors with a relaxing place to hung out to chat and enjoy each other’s company. Our high tables are also a wonderful addition to our space and provide lots of fun for cooking and activities. Thanks to the school for funding these new purchases.

Our Standing Tall program was successful in receiving the Wannon Water Ripple Effect grant last year which provided us with funds to purchase new resources such as an air fryer, microwave, electric frypans, kitchen utensils, art supplies and more to support our offerings within our Wellbeing room space where we run the Standing Tall program.

Harmony Week 2025

The Student Wellbeing Committee have been busy organising activities for POD time for Harmony Week. Harmony Week runs from Monday 17th March through to Sunday 23rd March and is the celebration that recognises our diversity and brings together Australians from all different backgrounds. The these for 2025 is ‘Everyone Belongs’ and our students have reflected upon this theme in POD time.

Our students were asked to think about the prompt, ‘Everyone in our school belongs because…’ and the responses have been displayed in the Chevalier Centre, see photo below!
