Expressions of Interest – Hosting First Nations Boarding Students

We are inviting families within the Monivae College community to express their interest in hosting our First Nations boarding students on occasional weekends throughout the school year.

While our students return home during holidays, they require host families for long weekends when the boarding house closes or for the occasional weekend during term time. Connecting with a local family plays a vital role in their success, providing a sense of belonging, security, and support while they are far from home.

This is a meaningful opportunity to build relationships, support our students, and foster reconciliation within our community.
