🛌🏻Cebula Boarding

Boarding News
Dear Parents and Guardians
Welcome back for Term Two! We hope everyone enjoyed a refreshing school holiday break and is ready for an exciting term ahead. Two new students have joined us this term: Callum in Year 11 and Wilson in Year 8. A warm welcome to both boys and their families to our boarding community!
Soon after commencing Term 2, the boys enjoyed the ANZAC Day long weekend which included a group attending the Dawn Service in Kalamunda where they proudly represented Mazenod Boarding.
Last week’s House Cross Country event was a fantastic display of enthusiasm from the boys, and it was wonderful to see them so engaged in earning House points. Congratulations to all participants! We’re now looking ahead to the House Athletics Carnival on May 15, where we know the Cebula boys will give it their all.
Congratulations to three of our Year 8 boarders - Kodie, Luke and Myles who were recently announced as Year 8 Cebula student leaders. Well done, boys! We look forward to seeing your leadership skills develop throughout the year.
During the holiday break, the Malnia House common room mural was completed by our talented art staff, Lauren and Jazmin using images supplied by a number of our boarders and their families. This beautiful art installation has added a touch of home to the Cebula community and we are so very appreciative of Lauren and Jazmin’s time and talents.
As National Boarding Week approaches (May 10-17), we are excited to join the celebration with over 25,000 students across Australia who call boarding houses home. We have a fantastic schedule of activities planned to honour boarding life, and we can't wait to share these with you in the coming weeks.
