From the Rector

Dear Mazenod Families,
Greetings to you all from the Kimberley, where I am currently visiting Mazenod families as well as assisting with some Masses in the Broome Diocese.
Mazenod College is a local school for the entire State and I have met some great people with links to Mazenod over many years. I have now visited 290 towns and communities in WA and I am so pleased that Mazenod has a positive reputation of a Catholic school who genuinely cares about the students, families and local community. This is something we can all be proud of.
By now I sincerely hope that every Mazenod family has been able to put a sincere and determined effort to attend our 60th Anniversary Mass at St Mary's Cathedral on the evening of May 22 at 7:00pm.
This will be the College's first ever Mass at the Cathedral and also the first time in our 132 year OMI presence here in WA.
We are looking forward to a wonderful celebration and hope that everyone makes an effort to attend. In an era where it is more and more difficult to gather together, these opportunities are precious and to be treasured.
Over the Easter break the Oblates enjoyed our Annual Retreat and Congress. Our ministry here at Mazenod featured positively for the entire Province and you were all in our prayers.
Take Care and God Bless
Fr Michael Twigg OMI
Rector
