Practice Charity
St Eugene de Mazenod once reminded his companions:
Among yourselves, practise charity, charity, charity.
This term, we are invited to return to what matters most: who we are in relationship with one another. In our learning, our teaching, our challenges and our hopes, we do not journey alone. We are a community shaped by kindness, patience, and generosity of spirit.
At Mazenod, we are called to live our days with purpose. We learn with integrity, serve with compassion, and seek to ensure that no one feels unseen or unvalued. As we step into this term, may we choose charity, not only in word, but in action, so that our community may truly reflect the love of Christ.
Mother’s Day Invite
The Mazenod College community invites our mothers and mother figures to our annual Mother’s Day Mass and Afternoon Tea, where we gather in prayer and gratitude to honour mothers, grandmothers and all those who faithfully nurture and care for others.
In the spirit of the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate, this celebration offers us an opportunity to give thanks to God for lives shaped by love, generosity and quiet service, those virtues so often embodied by those whom we honour on this special occasion.
