The emails for the SSB were sent centrally from the Department of Education, and will have come from:

If you have multiple children enrolled in Victorian government schools for 2025, you will receive one School Saving Bonus code email per child. These emails might arrive on different days. Please make sure to check your spam/junk email folder.
Regardless of whether you have received an email, the school has received the $400 for all students enrolled in 2025 as of early November.
If you haven’t received an email regarding your children, please contact the SSB team at school.saving.bonus@education.vic.gov.au or on 1800 338 663.

When making your allocation to either school activities, school uniform or both please remember that this allocation cannot be changed. Any unused portion of the school uniform allocation will come back to the school as activities after 30th June, 2025.
The activities allocation does not need to be used in 2025, it will remain on the student account until used, similar to CSEF.
The School Student Broadband Initiative (SSBI) is a Federal Government initiative offering free home internet to 30,000 unconnected households with school-aged students. Households have until Tuesday 31 December 2024 to apply. Free services will continue until 31 December 2025.
The initiative seeks to boost educational opportunities and narrow the digital divide.

Some families might also be contacted via their school with information about how to apply. The Victorian Department of Education has been working with the NBN to review Victorian school student home addresses. Only home addresses have been provided to NBN to check. No other personal information has been shared with NBN. NBN handles this data in accordance with privacy law.
