Prep/1 Steiner

F/1S students have been fully immersed in their Place Value Main Lesson ‘The Number Queendom’!

We have been learning about the base ten system and the number fairies Una, Decie and Centie have been helping us to count ones, tens and hundreds. Using this grouping system we have counted large numbers of objects up to one thousand! 

In literacy we have been continuing to learn and revisit sounds and write words, sentences and stories with these sounds and spelling patterns. 

We have continued to enjoy creative play and have been spending time playing games and building things together as a group.
