Run Like the Wind

What a fantastic day we had at the 2024 House Cross Country Carnival! Held at Ruffey Lake Park, the event brought out the best in our students, who tackled the challenging course with impressive energy and enthusiasm.

From the moment the buses arrived, it was clear that every house was ready to give it their all. Runners from all year levels pushed their limits, cheered on by their classmates and teachers. The atmosphere was electric, with vibrant house colours and spirited chants echoing around the track.

Each lap around the course showcased not just individual talent but also the strong sense of community that makes our school special. It was heartwarming to see everyone cheering on the runners from the sidelines, whether they were leading the pack or giving their best effort in the middle of the field.

At the end of the day, it wasn’t just about the medals and ribbons; it was about celebrating our collective spirit and sportsmanship. The carnival highlighted how our school values teamwork, perseverance, and fun. Congratulations to all our runners for their outstanding efforts and to everyone who came out to support them.
