EISM Senior Sport
Every Wednesday, Year 10-12 students participate in EISM team sports. Congratulations to the following teams who won their grand finals this season!

After an incredible season in 2023, our hockey team returned more determined than ever to win the trophy again this year. Thankfully, our hard work and dedication paid off once again and we finished the season unbeaten. Though we dominated for most of the season, winning games by over 7 goals, the grand final was our toughest game yet, with a narrow 1-0 victory. We concluded our season with our own ‘candy salad’ and used this time to celebrate the incredible spread of talent across the team, where every player excelled in their position. We couldn’t have done it without the unwavering support of our number one supporter, Mrs Sheehan, whose enthusiasm and encouragement fuelled us throughout the years. The Year 12’s wish the team the best of luck for the seasons to come!

EISM Tennis Gala Day
Congratulations to Goran G (Year 9) for being named the overall best player at the EISM Tennis Gala! The Gala is a statewide tournament where students from Years 7-12 compete. Goran triumphed in all six of his matches. Well done, Goran!

Tournament of Minds
Tournament of Minds is an international problem solving competition for teams of students up to Year 10. It is an opportunity for those with a passion for learning and problem solving to work as part of a team to demonstrate their ability in a creative and public presentation. This year Huntingtower had 5 teams from Year 5 to Year 8. They solved problems in the STEM, Language, Literature and ARTS categories presenting their solutions at the regional competition at Deakin University.
We received notification that four of our five teams were awarded Honours in their category, with the secondary ARTS team being also awarded the high honour of “Spirit of TOM”, which showcased their team work and high level problem solving. Well done to all of the teams!

EISM Cross Country
Congratulations to our incredible EISM Cross Country team who competed at Ruffey Lake Park! We are so proud to announce that Huntingtower has won the Girls Cross Country Aggregate Trophy - the first time Huntingtower has ever won it!
On an even more impressive note, Huntingtower girls have won all three EISM aggregate trophies this year, in swimming, athletics and cross country. Go team!
