HOSA Sports Day

We are proud to announce the Huntingtower teams for the upcoming HOSA Sports Day on Sunday 13 October. Watch out Team HOSA - these are some pretty strong team

Important Reminder: Carparks and Drop-Offs

With the building works at the Dorrington Family Hub, which are temporarily reducing the parking area at the Dorrington Avenue entrance, we kindly ask for your continued patience and cooperation.

 

To ensure a smooth and safe drop-off and pick-up experience, please remember to:

  • Minimize Campus Visits: Please avoid coming on campus unless absolutely necessary. Encourage students to walk, ride, or use public transport when possible.
  • Use Dorrington Drive Entrance: During busy times, consider using the Dorrington Drive entrance and carpark to reduce traffic congestion on Waimarie Drive.
  • Observe Speed Limits: Adhere to speed limits and drive cautiously.
  • No Unattended Vehicles: Please do not leave your car unattended, except for ELC parents who can use the pool car spaces.
  • Respect Parking Restrictions: Follow parking restrictions for pick-up and drop-off only. Disabled parking is reserved for those with permits.
  • Pick-Up Timing: Arrive after your child’s dismissal time to avoid blocking pick-up zones.
  • Prearranged Pick-Up Spots: Have your child wait with their siblings in a designated spot for easier pick-up.
  • Year 12 Students: Year 12 students should park off campus unless they have special permission.
  • Follow Staff Instructions: Please adhere to instructions from staff and parent volunteers and greet them with a smile and a wave.

By following these guidelines, we can all help reduce congestion and make the school drop-off and pick-up process smoother for everyone.

HT Uniform Shop

A reminder that the HT Uniform Shop is open:

 

Wednesday and Thursday 3:10pm - 4:30pm

Thursday 12:10pm - 1:15pm

 

NO APPOINTMENTS NECESSSARY.

 

Volunteering

We are currently looking for volunteers to help in the Uniform Shop on either Wednesday or Thursday from 3:10pm - 4:30pm once or twice a month. We are also looking for volunteers for Term 4 Orientation Days in October and November, and before back to school in January. If you have some spare time and would like to join the friendly group of Uniform Shop Volunteers, please either pop in to the Uniform Shop or send an email to htshop@huntingtower.vic.edu.au
