Meet our Culture Team: Crafting Our Collective Wheelers Spirit 

Hello WHSC Community, 

I'm Sophia, the Culture Team leader, and it's my joy to take you on a journey through our vision for a school that's alive with pride and vibrancy. The Culture team at WHSC is all about fostering a sense of belonging, organising fun school events, promoting broad participation, and bringing our College community together. 

Goal 1: Murals Project 

This year is about leaving our mark – quite literally – with murals that encapsulate the spirit of our houses and the unity of our college. Imagine walking across the college grounds, greeted by artwork that tells the story of who we are, designed in collaboration with local talents and our very own students. By Term 4, our walls will narrate our legacy. 

Goal 2: Rewards The Culture Team will investigate the implementation of a rewards system in Semester 2. There will be certificates and house points, but we're also talking about the kind of rewards that make every school day feel like a celebration. From treats to special event days, we're ready to cheer on every student's contribution. 

Goal 3: Events The festivities continue with an enhanced event schedule. Our goal is to weave together a series of events that give every student a chance to shine and earn those precious house points. Talent shows, design sprints, and tournaments – there's something for everyone. We're on a mission to ignite house spirit and student engagement like never before. 

Goal 4: House Pride We're set on making house pride a visible and vibrant part of our daily life. By the end of the year, we want every student to feel a sense of belonging that's as vivid and dynamic as our house flags fluttering in the wind. 

This journey we're on is not just about achieving goals; it's about creating a school environment that we're all excited to be part of. We invite you to join us, to offer ideas, and to participate in crafting our collective Wheelers spirit.
