Monash Tech School Partnership  

Our school's partnership with Monash Tech School has been nothing short of transformative for our students. Their Core Programs are designed to engage students using project based learning through the use of real world scenarios and experiences. My favourite one this year was the Superspace Program; its Showcase was a remarkable experience, igniting a passion for space exploration and technology among our students. They had the opportunity to engage in hands-on activities, collaborate with experts, and delve into the wonders of space science. The program not only enriched their scientific knowledge but also nurtured their problem-solving skills and creativity. 

Equally impactful were the Monash Tech School Industry Immersions.  Our students had the chance to step into the real-world workplace settings of leading tech companies, gaining valuable insights into the tech industry. These immersions opened their eyes to the vast array of career opportunities available in the field and allowed them to connect what they learned in the classroom to real-world applications. 

Our partnership with Monash Tech School continues to inspire our students to pursue STEM careers, fostering a sense of curiosity and innovation that will undoubtedly shape their futures. We are deeply grateful for the enriching experiences and opportunities this collaboration has provided, empowering our students to reach for the stars in their academic and professional journeys. 

We are so lucky to live close to such wonderful resources and facilities that provide invaluable opportunities like this for our students here at WHSC.
