Kitchen Garden Fun

The Year 3 students had a fabulous time during Kitchen Garden making butter chicken, roti bread and spicy rice.  4A made pumpkin soup, muffins and herb scones.  You can find the recipes below.

Food Tech

Students in Prep were lucky to share the pumpkin soup they made with the special visitors last Friday after the Mother's Day Breakfast.

World Bee Day

The 20th of May is World Bee Day, a day set aside to celebrate bees. World Bee Day raises awareness of the essential role that bees and other pollinators play in keeping people and the planet healthy.

We were very excited to see a native blue banded bee in our Skye Garden collecting nectar from a salvia.  To attract more pollinators to our garden the students have been busy repotting small saliva seedlings into bigger pots. When they’re more established they will be planted around our school.  It will be wonderful to see more beautiful blue banded bees and other pollinators in our school environment.
