I used to collect something called first day covers. When the post office released new stamps, they would also issue a decorative postcard featuring the stamp — that whole set was called a first day cover. I collected them when I was about 8 to 10 years old.
I have in the past; I don’t currently play. I used to play the piano and clarinet, and I had some voice lessons.
I’ve worked at BSC since the beginning of the year.
Maybe a Formula 1 car — you’d get to go fast, feel the wind in your hair, go vroom very loudly, and meet the racers. Could be fun.
Breakfast? (Loophole!) Breakfast could have so much variety to it.
I want to go see the Northern Lights — that’s one place I’d like to go. I’d also like to go to Berlin one day and chase up a bit of family history.
I’ve just finished a couple of good series — The Rainmaker on Stan, and the second season of Wednesday. I watched the first episode of Talamasca, and I also just finished watching the whole rerun of Gilmore Girls (with my wife). I’m also watching The Hack.
Meeting wonderful people and gate-crashing the school play for a cameo performance.
To get away from the hustle and bustle. It can be at the beach or out in the bush — just anywhere nice, quiet, and away from people.
I know the people from Reef to Rainforest would like me to sing “Stand by Me.” I sang it on camp several times.
George Clooney — I think he’d capture the combination of my warm personality and quirky wit quite well.
Thanks, Mr Katz!
