School Drop-off and Pick-up (Car Parks for Staff Only)
To ensure the safety of our students, smooth traffic flow around the school and access for MCC events and activities, please note the following:
- The Balcombe and Reserve Road car parks are for staff only and are not to be used for student drop-off or pick-up unless disability access is required (please liaise with the school). Boom gate closure hours for the Reserve Road car park are as follows:
- 8:15am to 3:40pm (Monday to Friday)
- 10:00pm to 6:00am (Monday to Sunday)
- If you need to drop off or pick up your child by car, we recommend using the Beaumaris Library car park on Reserve Road, further up Balcombe Road, or nearby side streets.

Compass User Guide
Reporting Absences
If your child is unable to attend school, please be sure to enter their absence on Compass OR email or call the office before 8:50am. Your prompt communication is greatly appreciated and helps us take care of all our students.
Late Arrivals and Early Departures
For late arrivals or early departures, kindly notify the college via Compass, email or phone. Additionally, students must sign in or out using the Compass Kiosk.
Permission for Independent Departures
Please note that students are not permitted to leave the college independently without prior authorisation. If your child needs to leave early and will be walking, riding, taking a bus, etc., please include this information in the 'Details/Comment' field when entering the 'Attendance Note' on Compass, or email the college.
Lost Property
Lost Property is stored in reception. All labelled items are returned to their owners and various unlabelled items are advertised in the college newsletter. Any items that are not claimed by the end of each fortnight are donated/disposed of.
Canteen
The canteen provides a lunch order service and over-the-counter sales during Break 1, Break 2 and lunchtime from Monday to Friday. Orders can be placed at the canteen from 8.30am daily or on-line via QUICKCLIQ prior to 8.00am.
Phone payments are not accepted in line with the Mobile Phone Policy. Students must use eftpos card or cash.
Accident Insurance
Parents/carers are reminded that:
Parents/carers of students who do not have student accident insurance, are responsible for paying the cost of medical treatment for injured students, including the cost of ambulance attendance or transport, as well as any other transport costs; and
Parents/carers can purchase insurance policies from commercial insurers.
