Farewell Year 12, Welcome Year 7!

The past few weeks at Beaumaris Secondary College have been filled with celebration, reflection, and new beginnings. We recently farewelled our Year 12 class of 2025—a bittersweet moment for our school community. While it's hard to say goodbye, we’re incredibly proud of the legacy they leave behind and excited to see what they’ll achieve beyond our gates. Just before their farewell assembly, we welcomed the next generation of students at our Year 7 2026 Open Night, held on Thursday 16th October. It was a vibrant evening where future students and their families got a glimpse into life at Beaumaris. With the help of Garion, Chris, Ms Kirk, Mr Bourbon, and our talented school band, the night was a huge success—setting the stage for many exciting journeys ahead.

Odd Socks Day: Standing Up for Mental Health

We also celebrated Odd Socks Day—a colourful and meaningful event where students wore their wackiest socks to raise awareness for mental health. With gold coin donations collected on the day, all of the donations went towards funding the 2026 Get Growing group.

Odd Socks Day reminds us that it’s okay to talk about our feelings and that mental health matters. It’s a simple but powerful way to start conversations and show support for one another.
