What's your favourite Jaffle filling?

Jaffles are a popular item on our Canteen menu, especially at this time of year. Lately, many families are selecting the Jaffle for their child but not adding the filling required. 

The hot toasted jaffle item is two pieces of bread only and you must also add your chosen fillings from the following options:

• Chicken
• Ham
• Egg
• Cheese
• Baked Beans
• Spaghetti
• Vegemite
• Tomato
• Mayo

If your child wants a Jaffle for lunch, find Jaffle in the Canteen lunch list and click the blue Add item button then click the blue Customise button in the Current Order box on the right side of the order screen and choose one or more of the listed fillings for a yummy warm jaffle.

Canteen volunteers needed

Our Canteen lunch order service continues to be in high demand. To run a successful service, volunteers are required to assist me deliver the ordered lunches on time. 

Join our team of volunteers to assist with lunch preparation and delivery. It’s a wonderful service to the school and greatly appreciated by me. It’s also a great way to make friends and meet other parents. Children love to visit when Mum, Dad or Grandparent is helping in the Canteen.

Canteen volunteers are required on:

• Monday from 11.15am to 1.45pm,
• Wednesday from 9.00am to 1.45pm, and
• Friday from 9.00am to 1.45pm.

You will be on duty once or twice each term (approximately every four to six weeks) with me and at least one other volunteer. If you are unable to commit to a regular roster, or have a special request, such as being on a certain team or with a specific friend, these will be taken into consideration when the roster is created. 

EHPS is a Child Safe school and all volunteers are required to hold a current volunteer Working with Children Check (WWCC). Before volunteering for the first time, present your WWCC card, sign the Child Safety Code of Conduct Acknowledgement and complete the OH&S induction for volunteers at the School Office.
