Like curious koalas climbing trees and navigating steep banks without slipping, their time in nature has inspired them to take safe risks, work together and tap into their creativity through imaginative problem-solving – useful skills for building 'real' fires and setting 'traps'! Awesome work, Kinders!

All Saints and All Souls Day

This Friday 7 November, Year 5 Waratah will lead the Junior School in a special prayer service at the Cathedral, reflecting on the theme of All Saints Day.

Celebrated on 1 November, All Saints Day is a joyful occasion that honours the official Saints of the Church. It also invites each of us to consider the kind of life we aspire to lead, guided by the wisdom of Jesus in the Beatitudes.

The following day, 2 November, marks the Feast of All Souls. On this day, and throughout the month of November, we are encouraged to pray for those who have passed away, especially the people we love, trusting that they're head in God's mercy and love.

All students are warmly invited to visit the Chapel this week to spend a quiet moment in prayer and reflection for loved ones who have passed away. The Chapel will be open before school, during recess and lunch, and after school until 4.00pm.

Fun and games for K–2 at athletics carnival

Our Kinder to Year 2 students enjoyed an action-filled day at their athletics carnival in the Nagle Centre today, where fun was (quite literally) the name of the game.

Students showcased their speed, strength and agility through running races, the puppy relay and impressive vortex throwing. Meanwhile, novelty events such as the classic egg and spoon race, sack races and tug of war, kept the excitement levels fever pitch and smiles unbeatable!

With guidance from the Year 6 students, who led each station and demonstrated the movements to their younger peers, our junior athletes embraced the day with courage, enthusiasm and teamwork.

A very big thank you to our Junior School staff for organising a fantastic day, and to the energetic parent and carer cheer squad for their invaluable support from the sidelines.
