We kindly remind families that Step Up Day will be held at the College on Monday 24 November, for all current Kinder to Year 6 students as they 'step up' into Prep to Year 7 for 2026. This special day is designed to support students as they prepare for the year ahead. It offers a chance to experience their next year level, meet future teachers, explore their new classroom and familiarise themselves with new routines and expectations.
A note for Kinder Platypuses:While this is not a regular school day for our Kinder Platypuses, we warmly encourage them to attend and take part in this valuable transition. For more details, please visit your Connect page.

To celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Presentation Sisters, St Mary's College will be hosting a Presentation Formation Day on Friday 21 November for Year 5 students from Presentation schools in the southern region of the state.
Students from St Cuthbert's, Corpus Christi and St Brigid's Catholic Schools will join our Year 5 cohort to participate in a range of activities designed to deepen their understanding of the Presentation charism and strengthen their sense of connection as Presentation People. The day will conclude with Mass at the Cathedral in celebration of the Presentation Feast Day.
Further details will be shared in the coming weeks, but please note the following:
Additional information will be available on Connect in the lead-up to this event.
Looking for the perfect opportunity to declutter the toy room before Christmas?
We're collecting good-quality second-hand toys for our upcoming Bloom festival, which will be held at the College on Wednesday 26 November from 3.30pm–6.30pm.

As part of the event, our Year 6 students will be running a second-hand toy swap (much like a book swap) and would greatly appreciate your donations.
To help us make it a success, please ensure your pre-loved toys are:
Donations can be dropped off at the Year 6 Banksia classroom in the lead-up to the event or at Student Services, with your child's name and the number of toys they are donating. During Bloom, your child can then visit the toy stall and choose a new toy to take home.
We're looking forward to seeing the wonderful toys everyone brings in and sharing the joy of promoting sustainability and reuse through this fun initiative. Thank you for your support.

We’d love your help with our upcoming Bloom Festival! Whether you'd like to donate goods, volunteer your time or simply attend, you can register and find all the details on our website here or through Connect.
