Celebrating our Year 12 graduates
Last week, our community came together in a spirit of reverence and pride to honour the graduating class of 2025 at the Year 12 Graduation Mass. Led by Archbishop Anthony Ireland, the Mass was a deeply moving occasion that reflected the values and traditions of St Mary’s College.
A highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of the graduation candle and ring to each student – symbols of light, hope and the enduring connection to our College. These tokens mark not only the end of their journey at St Mary’s but also the beginning of their next chapter as confident, compassionate contributors to the world.
In a poignant moment of continuity and leadership, our 2025 Head Prefect Isobel Gray formally handed over the College flag to Lucy Hofler, our incoming Head Prefect for 2026. This gesture symbolises the passing of responsibility and the strength of student leadership that continues to flourish at our College.

As we approach the end of the school year, we celebrate the achievements, growth, and spirit of all our students. The final weeks are filled with joy, reflection and gratitude for the friendships formed, the challenges overcome and the memories made.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the Year 12 cohort and wish them every success in their future endeavours. May they carry the values of St Mary’s with them always.
