Wait Mate Parent Information Session

Modbury School P-6 is proud to be part of the Wait Mate movement, which encourages students to build respectful relationships, show empathy, and look out for one another and delay our children having smartphones.

Why wait?

Waiting can feel hard when your child thinks everyone else already has a smartphone. That is exactly why Wait Mate works at a school year-group level. When families can see they are not the only ones saying 'not yet', the pressure starts to ease.

We warmly invite parents and carers to attend our Wait Mate Parent Information Session to learn more about the program and how we can work together to support our children’s social and emotional wellbeing.
