Celebrating Our 2026 Wellbeing and Engagement Results

We are proud to share the positive results from our 2026 Wellbeing and Engagement Collection, completed by our Year 4–6 students. These results highlight the strong work happening across our school to support student wellbeing, connection and success.

This year, Modbury School P-6 recorded positive improvement across all four key domains: emotional wellbeing, engagement with school, health and wellbeing outside of school, and learning readiness. We are also pleased to report that our school achieved results above the state average in 9 of the 28 sub-domains.

Some of the areas of growth we are especially proud of include:

  • Happiness — overall increase of 10% in 2026
  • Optimism — increase of 16% from 2025
  • Satisfaction — increase of 9% from 2025
  • Belonging8% more students reporting a high sense of school belonging
