Year 12

Ashlea Gell

The Year 12's are getting very close to the end of their journey, wrapping up their SACs and final assessments before they tackle their exams. Students will come in during the first week of holidays for their practice exams, which will be sat under full VCAA exam conditions. The cohort celebrated the conclusion of their final English SAC with the now ‘tradition’ of fairy bread and some well deserved high 5's! (see below).

It's a very exciting time coming up for the Year 12's, returning to Term 4 for revision and study, but also a range of celebrations. Some key dates for the Year 12's include:

  • September 22nd to 25th  - Practice Exams at school

  • October 21st – Gumbuya World Celebration excursion

  • October 22nd – Final day of structured Year 12 classes

  • October 23rd – Year 12 Celebration Day (including final assembly)

  • October 28th – English Exam

  • October 29th to November 19th – VCAA written exams

  • November 21st – Year 12 Valedictory

We encourage parents to join us for the Year 12 final assembly and look forward to sharing lots of photos and memories from this exciting time.

Year 12 students recently had a dress-up day; the theme was "My Future Self."

Students came dressed to represent how they could look in their future careers.
