The Library is open from 8.00am to 4.00pm each day, including recess and lunchtime for all students.

Library Borrowing & Returns

Students can borrow up to 5 books at a time, for a 2 week duration.  Reminder emails, notices on Compass, and TEAMS messages are sent to students when books are overdue, prompting them to return or renew.  

We do not charge overdue fees, but long overdue books (months) will incur a replacement fee, and parents will be contacted via Compass 'events' regarding this.

Book Bites Book Club

Book Bites Book Club (Tuesday lunchtime for all students) enjoyed sharing their 'reimagined' fantasy book covers over a shared lunch.  Always lots of fun talking books and of course a yummy lunch together!

Library Lunchtimes

We always have lots happening the Library with something for everyone -

...finding your next read or favourite reading spot, 

....jigsaw table - jumping along with 14 puzzles completed so far

... chess and Uno with competitions each term - congratulations to Ava (Ultimate Uno Champion Term 2) and Kai (runner up) and also to Tex (Chess Champ Term 2) and Leon (runner up)

 ...homework and working on a fun quiz for Book Week next term....

Year 7 MESC Archives Activity

Year 7 students became researchers/historians this term when looking through our MESC Archives to find out some of the history of our College.  They enjoyed looking back at how the buildings have changed, finding out the meanings of our 'House' names, comparing the different uniforms over the years and finding many familiar faces amongst all this.
