TERM TWO HIGHLIGHTS 

What a fantastic and productive Term 2 we have had in HoL.

This term has been filled with teamwork, creativity and plenty of hands-on experiences.  One of our most exciting additions has been welcoming our new chickens into the school community.

Students have enjoyed preparing their new home, learning how to integrate them with the old chooks, learning about caring for animals and taking responsibility for feeding, checking water and creating a safe and welcoming environment for them.

Another major achievement this term has been building and installing our beautiful new garden arbour which connects our front yard to the back yard. Students have worked together developing practical skills while creating a space which can be enjoyed by the whole school.

Next term we hope to redesign the garden around it and install some plants to grow over the arbour.

Term 2 has been a great example of students building confidence, learning new skills and making meaningful contributions to our school environment.  We are incredibly proud of everything they have achieved and look forward to continuing to grow and create in Term 3.
