YEAR 12 FORMAL 

On Friday 22nd May, the year 12 students headed to Southern Golf Club, Keysborough for our formal. It turned out to be such a fun night! Definitely a highlight of the year so far. With a red-carpet theme, the venue looked amazing and set the tone for the night ahead.

From the moment everyone arrived, there was a lot of excitement. Everyone was dressed up, taking photos and happy to be together. After a full-on start to the year with SAC’s and year 12 pressure it was nice to have a night where everyone could relax and enjoy themselves.

We had canapés on arrival followed by a sit-down meal, consisting of either Peri Peri chicken or cannelloni and for dessert chocolate lava cake or cheesecake and ice-cream. Dinner gave everyone the chance to catch up before the dance floor filled up straight away and stayed that way for most of the night. The night was full of smiles, many photo opportunities and memories that will last forever. Not to mention some of the amazing awards voted for by our class.

The night was a chance to appreciate year 12 so far, and all the people who have been a part of it. With the end of the year 12 coming up fast, it was a good time to reflect quickly on how the year is going and a reminder for us to make the most of what is left.

A big thank you to the staff and organisers who put the night together and made sure that everything ran smoothly. It was such a fun night, one everyone will remember forever.
