Canons undefeated - and on fire!

WE are proud to report that the St Norbert College basketball program has had a tremendous beginning to the year, with our teams competing at a high level and achieving great success. We would like to congratulate all of the students on their hard work and dedication, which has led to some remarkable achievements on the court.

Our Senior Boys Basketball team has had an exceptional start to the ACC competition, remaining undefeated in their group stage matches (4-0). They have one more game to play against Dale College next week, and we are confident that they will continue their winning streak and progress to the next stage of the competition. Their commitment to teamwork, skill, and perseverance has been inspiring, and we can not wait to see them in action in the coming weeks.

Our Senior Girls Basketball team and Junior Girls Basketball team have also been on fire, both finishing undefeated in the last week's carnival.  As a result, they have now progressed to the final 16 stage of the ACC competition.  Their hard work and determination have paid off, and we are proud to have such talented and driven athletes representing our College.

Our Junior Boys Basketball team finished last week’s carnival with an impressive 6-1 record, and they will now face a play-in game, with the winner earning a spot in the final 16 group stage. We have no doubt that they will bring their A-game to the court and continue to make us proud.

These achievements are a testament to the dedication, discipline, and passion of our students, coaches, and support staff. We would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their hard work and commitment to the program, as well as the parents and families who have supported them throughout the term.

As we move into the next phase of the competition, we wish all of our teams the very best of luck. We know that they will continue to make us proud, both on and off the court.
